Our Yoga Classes

  • Vinyasa Yoga

A rhythmic challenging and active practice to cultivate balance, strength, flexibility, and awareness. Strong emphasis is placed on safe alignment and the use of breath within and between each posture. Challenge your body and focus your mind while working through dynamic sequencing, building toward advanced variations. Appropriate for all levels of students.

  • Hatha Yoga

Steps away from the rhythmic style flow and focuses more on static holds, breathing techniques and slow movement. Hatha, traditionally meaning the physical yoga of effort, is intended to produce balance, merging solar energy with lunar energy. Hatha cultivates this balance from the extreme effort and focus utilized throughout practice.

  • Yin Yoga

Aims to balance our overactive yang energies through a restful style of asana. Poses are held anywhere from three to five minutes where we work alongside our connective tissue, the fascia. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body, the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. This practice favors stillness and meditation, preparing you for a delightful night's rest.

  • 26 & 2

This class follows the classic 26 postures that are practiced in Bikram studios. This sequence favors static holds in each posture giving students time to find stillness and depth within their pose. Postures and breathwork are meant to gradually open the lungs and body so that deepening postures becomes a focus. This class repeats the same sequence allowing an excellent gauge to your practice’s development. 26 series is manageable for students with any wrist or shoulder injuries, as there are minimal weight-bearing postures yet plenty of standing balances and back bends.

  • Mobility Movement

Mobility movement refers to exercises and activities designed to enhance and maintain joint mobility, flexibility, and overall range of motion in the body. Unlike traditional static stretching, which focuses on lengthening muscles, mobility movement often involves dynamic patterns that take joints through their full range of motion. The goal is to improve functional movement patterns, reduce stiffness, and increase the body's ability to move freely and efficiently.

  • Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a gentle and therapeutic style of yoga that focuses on relaxation and rejuvenation. Unlike more active forms of yoga that involve dynamic movements and challenging poses, restorative yoga involves passive and supported poses designed to promote deep relaxation. The primary goal is to release tension in the body and calm the mind.

  • Sound Healing

Sound healing is an ancient therapeutic technique that uses specific instruments, tones and frequencies to heal the body. This effect calms the nervous system greatly while relaxing the mind, body, and spirit. Produced by gongs, tuning forks, drums, Tibetan singing bowls, or other instruments, sound healing is a powerful way to reduce stress.

  • Power Yoga

Explore your physical limits. Power can challenge your strength as you flow through vinyasa style patterns merged with fitness style moves. Power is all solar energy, heat and strength building.
